Membership Benefits include:
1.) A Strong, Unified Voice: The creation of an independent FBI Intelligence Analysts Association (FBI IAA) gives us a strong, unified voice that allows us to have more input into the important issues pertaining to the FBI intelligence program and the Intelligence Analyst workforce. We serve as a strong and independent advocate for the FBI analyst cadre and represent the analysts’ perspective and concerns before FBI executives and external policymakers as appropriate.
2.) Advocacy for Expanded Career Opportunities and Benefits for FBI Analysts: As the FBI’s second largest employee group – made up of more than 2,900 intelligence professionals – Intelligence Analysts are a core part of the FBI’s national security and criminal investigative mission.
3.) An Independent Voice: The FBI IAA gives us the ability to communicate directly with FBI senior leadership, Congress, and members of the Executive Branch to seek funding and support for FBI analysts as well as the vital FBI intelligence mission.
4.) Professional Legal Services: The FBI IAA has acquired the services the legal firm of Robert C. Seldon & Associates, P.C. , specializing in federal employment law. FBI IAA members who require legal representation as a result of the conduct of their official duties may acquire these services for a reduced fee.
